About

As a writer and consultant, my mission is to help people create and convey messages important to their success -- especially through effective employee communications.

I am a bird-watcher, citizen scientist, gran’ma, advisor, gardener of herbs, veggies and wildflowers.  I enjoy drawing, painting, paper engineering, fabric arts, and calligraphy.

Currently, I am studying Botanical Illustration  http://www.minnesotaschoolofbotanicalart.com

To expand my abilities as a volunteer, I am a Minnesota Master Naturalist.  Trained in all three of Minnesota's biomes ("North Woods, Great Lakes", "Prairies and Potholes" and "Big Woods, Big Rivers")  I taught elementary kids in the after-school Explorers program.  http://www.minnesotamasternaturalist.org/

I offer "A Pencil is the Best Tool to See Nature" in various settings for kids and adults   -- in schools, nature centers, and community programs --   to provoke participants' interest in nature here in Minnesota, and to inspire each one to enjoy looking closely at plants and natural objects.
